Time & Location
About the Event
No matter the level of comfort or fear that you feel when you think of sharing the gospel with strangers this outreach will have a place for you! We need ALL HANDS ON DECK for this fishing rodeo. (No pun intended.)
In our initial meeting on the island at 3PM sharp we will pray together for the lost, give detailed instruction about the day and offer for any one new to evangelism a crash course training on how to share the gosple, how to pass out gospel tracts and how to share your testimony in 2 mins!
(To get all the information of locations and such, sign up and provide an email address.)
We need believers just to be avalible to help set up and tear down as well as passing out cold bottles of water and snow cones.
You will get to see first hand in living color other believers who have been throughly trained in evangelism share their faith one on one.
We will be doing a variation of outreach projects. We will have a tent set up passing out free snow cones.
Also passing out cold bottles of water. All to be a spring-board for the message of the gospel.
The great prince of preachers once said "If you give someone a cold cup of water, give them the gospel. If you give someone the gosple, give them a cold cup of water." -Charles H. Spurgeon
We will also do Ray Comfort style "On the box" open air preaching during the day. gathering crowds to have fun with open air trivia and a chance to hear the gospel.
That evening we will grill out and have worship on the beach and pray for those who heard the gospel.
SIGN UP AND PROVIDE AN EMAIL OR CELL PHONE # AND WE WILL SEND YOU ALL THE INFORMATION FOR THE DAY.
It was Pioneer to India William Carry that once said "Is not the great commission of our LORD still binding upon us? Can we not do more than we are doing now?"
You might say "Well we give to missions and we send missionaries form our church!"
But have we neglected our responsibility to be a faithful witness ourself in our OWN CITY.
There is something so much worst then being lost. It's being lost and no one is looking for you!
